Matthew Mandeli Named as Director of Operations & Program Development

RIDGEWOOD, NJ – Life Opportunities Unlimited (a leading provider of residential and day program services to adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities in Northern New Jersey) announces the appointment of Matthew Mandeli to the position of Director of Operations and Program Development. In this role, Mr. Mandeli will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of LOU and expanding the organizations’ footprint.

Prior to formally joining LOU, Mr. Mandeli was a research associate for a Swiss bulge bracket investment bank. His coverage in this role was focused on companies within the healthcare sector. Academically, Mr. Mandeli holds a BS from Cornell University in Biology as well as a MS in Biostatistics and Data Science from the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.

“Matthew’s strong academic credentials, work experience, leadership abilities, and commitment to this population, make him the ideal person to fill this position and develop LOU according to the organization’s philosophy and values”, said Founder and Executive Director Gail Tamirian-Mandeli.

Mr. Mandeli’s involvement with LOU began when he was an infant. Matthew is the son of LOU’s Founder and Executive Director, Gail Tamirian-Mandeli.  Matthew would come to work daily with his mother and as such developed a strong bond with LOU’s clients and the organization as a whole. As a teenager and young adult, he can be credited, most notably, for LOU’s marketing programing and establishing CLUB LOU Tonight. Outside of LOU, he has held various volunteer positions working with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as serving on the Ridgewood Access Board.
